PRIVACY POLICY

PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 13 OF THE REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 ON DATA PROTECTION (“GDPR”)

DATA CONTROLLER AND DATA PROTECTION OFFICER
The data controller of your personal data is Associazione Milano Check Point (the Association), with its registered office in Milan, Via Arena 25, 20123.
The Association has appointed Dr. Massimo Cernuschi as Data Protection Officer (DPO), he can be reached at the following e-mail address: presidente@milanocheckpoint.it .

DATA PROCESSING PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS
The personal data you provided to the Association or obtained by the Association while performing its activity shall be processed in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on data protection (“GDPR”).
Your data will be processed for the following purposes:

  • responding to your requests, formulated through the Association’s website, e-mail addresses or other communication channels;
  • sending, using the contact information you provided, information on prevention initiatives, information on the Association’s services, information on reservations made for the Association’s services, satisfaction and evaluation questionnaires regarding the services offered by the Association.

In these cases, your data will be processed on the legal basis of GDPR article 6, paragraph 1, point a (previous consent of the data subject).
Your data might be processed to fulfil legal obligations of the Association, according to GDPR article 6, paragraph 1, point c.
Any specific data you eventually provide (regarding, for example, your sexual orientation, health or sex life) shall be processed only for the purposes you will have explicitly consented to, in compliance with GDPR article 9, paragraph 2, point a.

SCOPE OF DATA COMMUNICATION
If needed to address your requests, the data you provided can be disclosed to other members of the Association.
The safety and confidentiality of your data shall be guaranteed.
Your data will not be transferred outside the European Union.

DATA RETENTION
Your data will be stored only for the period of time required by law. At the end of this retention period, your data will be destroyed.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The GDPR grants you many rights, among them the right to ask the data controller to access to your personal data, to rectify or erase them, to limit their processing as well as the right to object to the processing of your data, in addition to the right to data portability.
You have the right to withdraw the consent to the processing of your data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal.
Additionally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
To exercise your rights, you shall send a written communication to the Association, addressed to: Associazione Milano Check Point, Via Arena 25, 20123 Milano; or send a communication by e-mail to the address info@milanocheckpoint.it .

OPTIONALITY OF DATA PROCESSING
Providing your data is not mandatory.
However, providing some of your data and the consent to their processing are required to address your requests formulated through the Association’s website, e-mail addresses or other communication channels.
